IAC Valve (Idle Air Control)
defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor code? and where is the iac valve on the engine b16a1

It's directly behind the intake manifold, Its a cylindrical electronic thingy and the plug is underneath on the drivers side. Unplug the hazard fuse from the engine bay fuse box for a solid 10 seconds. Turn the car to the on position to see if the code is gone (if its not, you didnt unplug it for long enough) Then start it to see if it comes back. If it does, take it to a shop, 'cause I have no idea what to do.

how is your idle? Does is fluctuate from like 800 to 1300 while ur stopped or in gear? If it does fluctuate at all whether your stopped or in gear while STOPPED, it means your Idle air Motor or IAC valve is gone. Just unbolt it from the back of the intake manifold and replace it with a new one, its simple with only two bolts to remove. Update me on what happens.
