There is no such thing as a D16A SiR1. Only B-series engines came in the Civic SiR, and it's a B16A SiR1. B-series engines always come more expensive than D-series engines.
 
the D16a is the factory motor out out the first generation Integra, actually, and the reason you can get it so cheap, is that the only car you can easily swap it into, is the 84-87 CRX...
 
ummm hes talking about the B16A (click the link)... the reason a complete swap is more expensive than a long block is because the complete swap has more stuff, like tranny, mounts, ECU, harness, axles, etc...
