DPFI to MPFI dizzy question

I was told that instead of buying a d16a6 dizzy, I could use my D15 dizzy but I need the plug for the distributor of the wiring harness of an SI. Is there any truth to that? I need to know ASAP cause I'm buying all the stuff on Monday.

Not true. The plug for the si will not fit the dx. The si distributor has an extra sensor in it, that is needed for it to run properly. You will still need the si plug for the si distributor. Just do it the tried and proven way you will be fine that way.
