engine light on

friend just did a sir2 swap in his 94 civic ex and the engine light is on . i looked in the ref section and did not find anything. how do i get the trouble codes and tell what they are? thank you

You need to jump the service connector, located on the passengerside wall below the glove box in front of the ECU.

Turn the car off, jump connector with a paperclip or small piece of metal as shown in picture, then turn key to assecory position and count the number of flash's. Short is the first number, long is the second, ie two short and two long = 22.
