Ok, when i first got my car i raced a hatch with a b16 swap and i beat him by 4.5 cars at least. i raced him this last weekend and got beat by 1.5 cars.....ALL HE DID WAS PUT IN A NEW RADIATOR....that does not add HP at least not THAT much to beat my hatch/b18c1.
things that happend since after the first race from way before:
timing belt loose, put in new timing belt, retarded the timing from 20 degree's to 15 (stock is 16), new plugs (platinum at stock gap) and new 8.5mm msd spark plug wires.
ALL he did is put on his stock rims (went from 17inch to 15 inch) and a new radiator.
WHAT THE HELL COULD IT BE...i noticed power loss as well...it doesnt feel the same. could retarding the timing do THAT much? im gonna put it back up to 18.
any one run with GSR's know good settings for the timing?
