engine position

the lsv engine in my Crx sits way low and sticks down about 2-3 in from the xmember and i keep hitting the header and oil pan on speed bumps...etc

anyone else has this problem?
can it be fixed?
any ideas?

That is normal. Its the mount kit that your using. If you have coilovers you can raise your car up and/or just be careful of the bumps/rough roads.

Yep I have the same problem.

alright ...i do have coilovers.... my friend said that was a good thing because of the lowered center of gravity...or something

you have coilovers... but you;re suprised your car is bottoming out???

get a skid plate, or don't run the springs that low

make your own it takes about an hour and cost 10 bucks

okay....do i bolt the plate on the header or where....and what kind of metal do i use....can you explain a little more....i really dont want to spent 8hrs figuring out something that only takes an hour

What mount kit do you have with that? some mount kits make it sit to low.
