OK, I never get this... sure, Cali is being militant with their smog laws, but what's so bad about having a fast, clean vehicle? I hear people bitching and moaning about cats this and cats that, and it's like, WTF? So it's COOL to pollute more than you have to? That's just fucking lame. I say it's about time they started putting cats and evap canisters on bikes.

the thing is they are bitching about smog on bikes when the avg rider puts 1K miles on their bike a YEAR some people do much less
there are a few of us that ride a lot me being one of them I ride to work a lot
but for the most part 1K is the avg a rider rides his bike "so the insurance guys say"
why put money into trying to get such a small # of bikes to clean up when theres TONS of other things MUCH MUCH worse
