Exhaust !!!!

I have a 2000 jdm type R that came with a full Mugen sports exhaust system.
the piping from the header to the resenator is 2 1/4 inch and pass the resenator is 2.5 inches all the way to the muffler .
Do u all think the 2 1/4 piping is 2 restrictive :unsure:

no, the 2.5 is too big unless you are Forced induction

If its' mugen, you should be fine. Theyfine tune everything for maximum performance.

The stock Type R exhaust is 2.5 inches...

2.5 isn't too big for NA, if you have some larger cams and pushing hard uptop then 2.5 is very nice, you tend to loose a little bottom end grunt for the top end gains.


nah, the 2.25 resonator (which i think you mean test pipe) is fine.
