my car is overheating at idle and the fan won't turn on . does it have to do with the wiring . my car is a 91 civic std with a 96 d16y8 installed with a hasport wiring harness . what would cause this problem ? thanks
the switch in the thermostat might be bad. pull the plug off the switch and stick a wire in the 2 slots in the plug. If your fan kicks then your switch is bad. check fuses and relays to.
