Getting modern warfare 2 this week!!!!!!!

i think it gets a lot of hate because a lot of noobs just launch it randomly. they just shoot off two quick shots then go camp. i can't think of any times i never saw the person when i used it. i just use it when i am too far for a gun or they are camping at a funny angle or under cover.

Yeah, I always use it when I actually see someone. I don't think it's really that "noobish" of a weapon though. At a distance it's a one shot kill with a pretty wide hit range, I will admit that. But if you stumble upon somebody in close quarters then you either have to be dead on accurate or you're most likely dead.

I actually really like the perk setup for the default "grenadier" class. Stopping power makes your bullets more effective, scavenger lets you pick up more grenades for the grenade launcher, and commando makes you better in close quarters. I've been using that class a lot lately...

when i stumble upon someone with the grenade launcher i try to stab them. lol i'm about 50/50 with it. but i would like to upgrade my melee.

dont worry i had that problem for the longest. But the longer you play the more you start to take advantage of everything. Im just now starting to remember my grenades! haha

Yeah, I forget about the grenades too. I think that's more of a MW2 thing though. People just don't seem to use grenades as much anymore. In COD4 there were always grenades going everywhere. In MW2, I don't see the grenade indicator anywhere near as much.

Maybe that's just the games I'm playing though...

Wanna be really annoying? Put on the M203, Thumper, claymores and scavenger. lol


Headquarters is ridiculous... I have all my perks as pro except One Man Army, Last Stand and Sit Rep.

Cold Blooded Pro is awesome I must say, I have an Anti-Air class set up and playing headquarters I was ripping choppers apart with my stinger until I got it.

well i beat the mw2 last night. well first i beat borderlands..... mw2 was even shorter than the old one imo. i did finally get to play on line too. i think its alot better than the old one for online play. and i seem to be alot better at this one than the first......... i did get the shit kicked out of me but my team still won and i did get 4 kills.

the game itself is shorter due to expansive special ops and online play. which, imho makes the game better. MANY of the users don't even play campaign mode and go straight to online.

IMO, special ops veteran is 10x harder than campaign seeing if you die you gotta start from the beginning again.. it gets rather frustrating

Yep. I agree 100%. The campaign was cake for this game on veteran, the Special Ops took a little longer to complete.

I actually like the campaign better then the first one. I can't decide if it was really that much shorter or if it just seemed shorter because I was already familiar with how to play from playing COD 4. Either way, I enjoyed it! Lots of good "Holy Shit!" moments and a good storyline...
