ok im wanting to weld the diff on my car and i was wondering if it is highley not recomended for a dd od if it will be ok im just looking for cheep traction

dd od?

if you weld your diffs you cant steer without the tires messin up; the inside wheel moves slower than the outside. it wouldnt be a limited slip, but more of a no-slip differential; like the detroit locker. even drag ff cars dont weld their diffs, only rwd cars.

dd = daily driver dont know where the od came from i have a welded diffs in my jeep and it is some times a bear to turn but i have traction when i want it i but it is a trail only vehicle and i wasnt sure about doing it on my car has any one done it and what are there thought about it

your pretty much asking to brake something

have you ever seen an old muscle car take a corner that has a welded differential. you can't go over 10mph and it hopes like a bitch. try backing into a parking space. So welding you diff. for a front wheel drive could only be at least 10 times worse.

it wont work at all dont try it
and to weld a honda diff is not the same as welding a straight axel
