the second bank of injector is the secondary bank that kicks on at higher levels of boost ie after x rpm it allows much better tunability etc and the pada is running methanol not gas big diffrences

there are a number of reasons to run additional injectors. like one of the other guys mentioned, they aid tuning. it can also help avoid problems. Example: you have four 400cc injectors, if one gooes out you now have no fuel going to that cylinder. this will lose power but it may or may not create any big problems. now lets say that the injector doesn't go completely out, it just only sprays half of what it is supposed to. now your A/F ratio is all screwed up and you run lean. now you are blowing stuff up. if you had an extra injector the A/F ratio was only as screwed up half as much as it could have been. lets say that you have a car running ten 40cc injectors (this does not really happen) per cylinder. if one or even 3 of the injectors was to go out you'd still be O.K. i know a guy running eight 710cc injectors on an awd talon. he makes like 750 + horsepower. it would be a lot harder to tune for that kind of crazy hp on only four injectors.
