Couple my buddies came over Saturday. We did 32oz Mini Tomahawks. I did a reverse sear on the Yoder. Made a nice little butter sauce which i also smoked to pour on top. Best fucking steak i have ever had in my life. No lie. I could have used one of those chinese food places rubbery knives to cut through this 2" 32oz beast it was so tender and juicey.

Paired it with some crab legs, corn on the cobb and potato boil with old bay.

Nicely done! Hope you wore your stretchy pants, that's a BIG meal. Those look like almost the size of the cowboy I posted. My wife, daught and I shared that AND we had leftovers.

And I know it doesn't look as good in pictures but when you sear, the more surface contact, the more delicious browned meat. I use a cast iron on my gasser.

lol yeah i had mesh shorts on. I did not eat all of it. I would say I ate like 70% of it and my wife at the rest the next day. I'm seriously craving another one. I would put that steak up against any of the best crappy chain Steak House restaurants any day of the weak. i'd let Gordon Ramsey come to my house and try to bash it. It was that good. Meat was from South Side Market in Bristol, CT

Wife bought me a 6 burner charbroil performance series with searing burner for father's day. Happy with it. Glad she didn't get a Webber. Would have cost twice as much and I'm not that good of a griller to know the difference.

Took about 3 hours to assemble lol. Never thought it would be so many parts.

Made a few burgers on it for father's day.

Yeah, i need to get a cover.

the sandals are my slip ons for running outside quickly and such... beats putting on shoes to go in and out of the house (we don't wear shoes inside)

I don't do roundup. f that glyophosphate cancer crap. The wife usually does the weeding, but ya know, new born and all...

yeah buddy! Grill away!

I made some Carnitas yesterday. So delicious.

Nice! Good grilling and barbecuing!

I want to add a BGE or Komado style to my arsenal. Those are bullet proof and last forever.

We recently got our belongings back now that we've moved into our new house. That includes my big green egg that hasn't been touched since last summer.

Both the firebox and fire ring cracked during the move unfortunately, but I've got them put back together and don't think it will cause any problems using it in the future. Been dying to get some wings on it here soon just to get something smoking.

Did you like the Cowboy lump? I've heard horrors about it so only stick with Royal Oak as it is essentially the BGE charcoal in a different bag.
These are my new toys.

To me cowboy is overrated. It tends to be inconsistent and takes a long time to get white hot if you don't want the acrid taste. I have been using royal oak or kingsford apple.

Did some more ribs, some Sweet Bourbon Steak Skewers. I've yet to do a brisket. I done some Salmon as well as some Caribbean jerk wings too. Reversed Seared a couple Ribeyes I'm so mad i didn't get into this years ago . Everything just tastes so much better.
