i have a 97 teg going in a 93 hatch and i need to know what more do i need to get this on the road. how much of the teg can i use and how do i do a obd convertion? and is there anything i need to know ahead of time that might give me troubles? thanks for the help

To run a OBD II ECU in an OBD I car, there is only one reasonable way, and they is to get a conversion harness, or you can completely rewire the whole cabin, and engine bay harness.

would it be the obd2 - obd1 harness or is there a different one

I imagine so. Send where ever you decide to buy it from an email to make sure it's to run an OBD II ECU in a OBD I car, and not the other way around.
