You say that now, but when you get one the world of bittorrent and porn opens up to you and soon you're having to manage that meager 1TB. Speaking from experience :O
I also have an eeePC 701 that I bought as soon as I could get my hands on one. I added Bluetooth to use my hsdpa enabled phone to get internets when I was traveling. It made a good setup, as long as you kept in mind that it was designed to be small and disposable.
Eee's are great, but they're not a replacement for anything.
