Help With Cel

got a code 54. My friend and I just put a JDM ITR swap in his gsr. The gsr had this sensor but the ITR motor does not. How can we bypass this? He is using a p73 ecu. thanks!

Little more info please.
What year GSR?
What year engine?
What year ECU?

both the gsr and itr are 97. the p73 ecu is supposed to be the stock one that originally came with the itr motor... so 97 too i guess.

If the ECU that you are using is truly the ECU that came with that ITR engine them it shouldn't be looking for the sensor. What is code 54?

54 = CRANKSHAFT SPEED FLUCTUATION SENSOR

its fixed. we just reset the ecu a few times and it went away. car runs great. thanks!
