Iac Valve Question?

I took my Iac off my 92 gsr. The screen in the IAC is fraying. Do you think this is why I am having a LOPY idle??

probably not. Theres a spring inside that usually gets weak or breaks. If your positive it's the IAC you should just get it replaced.
