I'm well on my way to socketing my ECU. I gathered most of the parts I needed, and started soldering last night. I'm waiting on the 28 pin socket for the EPROM. Radioshack didn't have any in stock. I'll have to wait a week or so for delivery.
I had the same problem in my rex w a b16a. I've been told the the KS is very tempermental to the point that honda matches them to the ecu. problem is buying a ECU that didn't come with your carand making it not throw the code. I don't know if that is true.i even bought a barnd new one from homda and still threw the code every time.
Somebody posted the numbers, you could use a multimeter to read the voltage. I don't think they go bad very often. The sensor goes into the block, but the location is dry, and the sensor is sealed.
