Yeah i'm currently going to UTI. So far i've completed Basic Engines, Undercar (Suspension and what-not), Power Trains (Manual Transmissions, rear ends, driveshafts, ect...), Brakes, Electrical Fundamentals, Electrical Diagnosis, Automatic Transmissions, Climate Control, and right now i'm currently doing Fuel and Ignition Systems. Next it's onto Drivability and Emissions. I got 7 more classes after that to finish core and then it's on to the UTI Avondale, AZ campus to take Diesel.
How did you like Wyotech? I gave consideration to Wyotech but the campus out here offered other things such as Nursing and that didn't sit well with me. I wanted a trade school that was dedicated to pretty much one thing. Also, when I took the campus tour at UTI I was sold on how great the training aids are. We got clip cars for everything we learn on. The one complaint I do have about UTI is that they let anyone in. There are so many immature-wanna be's that they give UTI a bad name when they get out into the real world and start fucking shit up.
Yeah I would enjoy the company/help during my build but i'm not sure if i'll still be out here after I graduate. Hell, I don't even know if i'm gonna still be in Cali period. After Diesel, they could offer me a job anywhere
