if you want to buy a full set of shocks and springs for your car and you want to spend less then $300 then you either need to look really hard for used stuff or you need to save some more money

if you find any package deal brand new for that price just turn around and run away.

good springs new should be in the $200 range, used $100
good shocks new should be about $300 - $400, used $200 - $250

those are ballpark figures, but don't go too cheap on suspension because it is one of the most important things on a car right after the engine (which really isn't that important... it just makes it go)

Cheapo Coilovers- $65 on ebay.
Cheapo KYB Non-Adjustbles- $200 on ebay.

Thats what you were looking for I believe.

$65 for coilovers? dayum. i would never buy those just cause there must be something wrong with them.

Eh, they're cheap because the springs on them aren't weight rated per coil like the expensive companies.

you can get a full tokico spring/strut setup for like $350 shipped. a guy on hondashowoff.com has them and likes em. he can tell you the site. aim:honda530

I got some decent coilovers INSTALLED for $200 at a local performance shop for my 1996 HB. The ride is really good. I didnt need shocks.

I'd suggest waiting to get lowering Spring and shocks until your budget wil lallow you to afford a descent package if ot you will entirely regret spending $300 on shit products just to go out and spend another $400-500 to fix the problem you created.

I was on a limited budget as well and I bought Neuspeed Sport Spring $180 (1.8" drop)
and to compliment them I bought KYB AGX adjustable shocks $350 for all four.
total cost $530 , the care handles like it's on rails. I find it to work just fine for autocross as well.

I say save another $230 and buy some quality parts

well you can buy the springs now and use your stock shocks, but it's only a matter of time before you kill your stock shocks while using the lowering springs.

also why would you want to do 3 hours of work to take all 4 spring/shock assemblies apart to put the new springs in and put the suspension all back together, to have to do the same damn job another 3hrs of work to change the shocks. IMHO it ain't worth it to do the job twice.

I'd rather do it right the first time , than worry about lowering my car so I look cool. I'd rather it function properly as well.
