mugen p06 chip

hello i wana chip my p06 with a mugen chip from ebay n i wana know if i need a socket or can i jst chip it like dat can anybody help me out plz

chips are just a program... the ecu needs to be socketed and modified to run the socketed loop.

that said, you're better off not buying any canned 'brandX' tune off ebay. it will likely just make you slower and use more gas.
