now i know how it broke

sorry about that

i had the screw come out one time and i was left stranded so lock tight is definately a good idea

i had the same trouble with mine, i used the hammer idea but i got some bad news for ya, those screws are like $20 each to replace from honda

Yeah, but why would you buy OEM honda?

I know that pepboys/autozone has packs of about 6 for like 2 bucks. They come in those red packages that say "HELP" on them.

Because OEM hands down is the best thing for hondas unless you're doing an after market product like MSD. I've used a lot of different cap/rotor combos due to having like 4 shit alts that would eat them up.

dremel a slot FTW I've done that many times. When you put new screws back in, use the kind that have the 10mm heads. so you can use a wrench next time.

I believe OEM honda stuff has the 10mm heads (again FTW). Is your cap an after market piece?

I t is an aftermarket right now cause all though I checked the cap and rotor myself and it looked good everyone was saying that's probabbbly what's causing my problem and every parts place in town had to order the oem one and I didn't want to wait. But those aren't the screws I'm talkin bout the new cap came with those. I;m talking bout the screw that holds the rotor on. You know when you remove the cap, look behind the rotor side that's close to the firewall, and there's a single phillip head screw that holds it onto the shaft.

too late, new one is already on

Lets hope your alternator doesn't crap out on ya. They're picky little bastards, even more so for the high reving B16, hopefully hitting it didn't mess up the bearings or alignment of it. If your car starts to make a grinding/scratching noise, or if your car just dies and wont start then starts then dies again then starts and runs for awhile. you'll know what to look at.

It's kinda been doing that since I switched my injectors last week. Some times when I come to a stop it dies, the other night on my way to work, drove 30 miles stopped at the gas station filled up, went to start and nothing. Bought a new battery and she started right up, shop says my alt is good though so I dont know

If it didn't do it before swapping injectors then then did it right after, then thats a dead giveaway that something is wrong in that area.Somethings lose or an injector might be bad? are the new injectors bigger? did you remap your ECU?

I'm waiting till I get in my new fuel pump and regulator which should be next week to start tackling that problem again. I'm still waiting for my P28 to be shipped which should be mapped with all upgrades if the shop did it like I ask them to. Yea they are bigger injectors 440cc
