My rear disc swap and pics of my ride.

I am doing a rear disc swap on my eg coupe and I thought that I would share some pics of the swap and mycar...

I am putting power slot rotors on whenever they come in. I have also been sanding off the rust and hitting a lot of the parts with PB to get them clean. I am going to paint the calipers black. What does everyone think. These are the first pics of my car ever.

No they are 17"...I recently did some research and somebody on this site gave me an article to read about wheels and why it is better to have smaller wheels (thanx E SolSi), but for now they will work. I may get a set of 15" later when I actually start driving at a track.

I will post some more pics when I get them on...I am painting the calipers, and also doing a front brake upgrade at the same time. I will post a bunch of pics of the process actually just so people can see what it looks like. Not a tech post just some pics.

Also what is the best master for my set up. I have read that the 15/16 for the integra is the right one, but I want to be sure. I also read in some of the how to's that I have found that it is important to have the absolute right prop valve. I have two different 4040's. One has a three hole bracket, the other has two holes. The article that I read made it seem pretty important to know which one I should use. I will post pics later of the two valves.

Since they're both 4040, you should be fine. The other markings are probably date codes or lot codes for tracking production. If they are, the higher number is probably newer. Just make sure that the valve is bolted together securely and that you have the right flare fittings to fit. All of mine had leakage problems.

Just hook them up. The stock flare nuts should be the right size (your two valves should be identical, doesn't matter which one), but when I did mine I had fitment problems. I think that my stock flare nuts were too small. To replace them, I would have had to cut the hard lines, put new nuts on, then reflare the lines. I didn't want to do that, so I stuck with the stock proportioning valve and compensated by playing with the brake balance on the rear rotor upgrade kit.

Ok cool...Also the rubber seal on the ebrake lines that sits in the floor pan has been cut, can I just take the ones from the drum lines and switch them over. I read somewhere else that someone had this prob. and they just bought new lines, but that seems like a waste if I can swap that out. Thanks for the help, I know I am asking a lot of questions.
