need help on first swap please

i am trying to swap a D16y7 from a 97 civic lx into a 92 civic dx. all the mechanical is mounted. tranny and engine mounts are good. I have the complete 97 vehicle but it was wrecked beyond repair. having a problem getting all the wiring sorted out. Anyone ever done this swap before and can you help. thanks

i would personally try to use the dx harness on the y7 motor
you might need to swap injectors etc
try to get it running first, then worry about vtec, etc

Pretty sure the LX was not VTEC in '97.

You should be able to basically just put the intake manifold and everything from the '92 motor onto the '97 motor and drop it in.
