Good morning, first off thank you all for the add to the forum. I bought a 1997 Civic not too long back, and the guy I got it from had modified it for dirt track racing. The engine was swapped for a B20B out of a '98 CR-V, the transmission from a '97 Integra LS, and the ECU out of a '94 or '95 Integra. He slung a rod through the side of the block, so I'm building another B20B to go back in it from a '97 CR-V. The engine I'm putting in it will also be as stock as possible due to class rules (so no VTEC), with the exception of a long tube header and a cold air intake. The wiring harness in the engine is all hacked up but he did have it running with it. Do you think it'd be wise to get one of those tucked wiring harnesses like this one? Tucked Engine Harness OBD1 Budget D & B-series For Civic Integra B16 B18 D16 New | eBay
The last owner also absolutely cooked the clutch, pressure plate and flywheel, what car would I need to get these for? Would I get these from another '97 Integra?
Aside from all this, the engine mounts are homemade so I'll be getting a proper swap set. Does it sound like I have everything needed to get this back together? I'm no stranger to working with Hondas but this is my first time dealing with any sort of swap. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
