My mom wants a new microwave; she's still using a Panasonic one she bought in the mid 90s; still runs fine but the area where the turntable "bearings" run got burned somehow and the open-button is falling out.
I've read reviews on Amazon, etc. and it seems that all new microwaves seem to be unreliable in general. I'm hoping there's a couple of folks on here who use their microwaves heavily(microwave isn't used too much but don't want to have something go wrong after the warranty is up), and can make suggestions. Only requirements is needs to be about 1 ft^3 or larger and available in black; though I'd prefer something available locally(like Sears, Best Buy, etc.) so if it does go bad, returns or repairs isn't an issue.
