Ok, i just bought a '99 honda civic dx, and i need to know what the best options i have for a swap,(engine, tranny, ecu, and add-ons for said engine) money isn't really an issue i just want to know what will make this car an all around nice ride, something that's gonna smoke 80% of the cars i race. Thanks in advance for any advice.

ok by your wording im guessing you are mostly looking for straight line performance (drag/street racing)... in this case i would suggest
H22 (NA or FI) --great straight line performance, not so great cornering but fine for normal driving
B18C1 (NA or FI) --great straight line performance, good cornering as well depending on suspension work
B18B1 (FI) --great straight line performance, good cornering as well depending on suspension work
