well im new to hondas just bought my first honda a 1992 civic hatchback with no motor or trans so i get to start from scratch. ive been looking at puting in a gsr swap . ive been doing alot of homework and i got alot of stuff down. i know you supposed to change the shifter linkage which the guy left on the car, axles, wire up the vtech, buy mounts from hasport and do something with the obd2. Im going to take it apart and put low comp pistons, sleeve the block and do all forge internals. as you can tell im going to run a custom turbo setup. my question is do i have to worry about the obd1 and obd2 if im going to run a ems? the vehicle is not a going to be a daily driver. i hope to get 500 to the wheels. and as far as the swap am i missing anything? do i have to get a obd1 motor or obd2? thanks in advance :worthy:

obd does not really matter

o would tink about some thing diffrent than a gsr because the intake manifold is diffrent then the rest of the b series and you also have the sec butterflies to mess with also if you are truely building it up maby a properly built ls vtec

If you're going to build it, build an LSVTEC.
Keep it obd1, you will be happier.
Use the shift linkage from 94-01 integra.

exactly if you plan on changing the manifold you have very few choices with a gsr because the bolt patern is diffrent than a b16 and a b18c5

well hell i didnt know the bolt pattern was differnt well ill look into it somemore. do i stick with the trans that comes with the swap?
