I decided to post in Civic because it gets more travel and it isnt only about the ecu.
I have an OBD1 civic VX and want to swap in a b18c1. I thought I would get a OBD1 engine but these are getting harder to find and they all have a lot of miles on them. But OBD2 engines are newer, fewer miles, and usually not much more expensive.
I want to know how to convert my engine from OBD2 to OBD1. What would I need to replace? I know ecu but someone said distributor, injectors, and some other things. Has anyone done this conversion?
