obd2a to obd2b

will the wiring line up. the car is a 96 ex obd2a and the motor i want to get is a obd2b i think, atleast thats what he told me, is this true, and is it an easy fix to wire in. some one said the obd2b had an extra senser.

You don't need anything. Just use the 96-98 engine harness and ecu on the 99-00 engine.

yeah...use the 96-98 harness, and change the crank sensor plug (the one by the oil pump) 96-98 is a two wire plug, 99-00 is a three wire plug. simply cut both plugs, match up the wires and plug in. then you willl have no CHECK ENGINE light
