Oil feed??

Just out of curiosity, is there more places besides teeing off the oil pressure sending unit to get oil to the turbo? It would be on a d15b7. Just wondering if that is the only location, or if there are more?

you can get oil from the head as well. some guy on the "d" series board is getting his oil from the head.

head, oil press unit, custom adapter from oil filter, and oil pump of im not mistaken(they got sum out for the b series)

alright, thaks for the info, Ill have to check out the d forum.

EDIT: I checked out turbod16 but didnt find any info on where the oil feed from the head is. I have a haynes manual but dont know where I could tap it. Where exactly is the source on the head located?

don't take it from the head. its a bad idea.

either take it from the pressure sender on the back of the block with a bpst fitting, or get the golden eagle (or your generic brand) oil filter fitting (also known as ls/vtec oil conversion kits)

there is a guy selling a custom "t" for tapping the oil; pressure sender that had the right threads and works great, he was on homemadeturbo.com, look in the classifieds.
