oil filter holder removal

i have an a6 block and it did not have an oil cooler on it and i took the one off my b6 block and was wondering how do i get the old oil filter holder out so i can get the cooler on this block?

Pipe wrench, pliars, some grip in your hand. Put a towel over/around the stud to avoid damaging the threads. Itll come out though, its the same as putting a B16 cooler on a LS block. You have to swap the water pipes out too.

Replace the gasket or youll be sorry.

o i plan on replacing the oring and stuff i just didnt know if there was a reverse thread thingy for this but ill get my 18in pipe wrench and give it a try
