Ok so I changed my water pump and started the engine and the oil light came on and won't go off.
Anybody know whats up? 90 crx this one still has the hf in it

You disconnected the oil pressure sensor wire or you need oil in your car.
Or your oil pump stopped.

How can i find out if the oil pump is working.

Hook a mechanical oil pressure gauge up.
EDIT: Don't run this thing much AT ALL until you know if you just disconnected something, have a bad sender, etc. The thing won't last too long without oil. Hope I didn't insult your intelligence with the last couple of sentences. I guess I would rather take that chance then you royally f*ck yourself up and lock that thing up.
