can the p28 be chipped without soldering?

Because the p30-g00 and p30-g01 can be chip just by putting new rom chip i think.

Thanks

and those other ECU's also require you to solder in a jumper, a resistor a 20 pin ROM and a 28 pin socket that you can then just plug the new ROM into

Does anyone has some sites, how-to, instructions??
Has anyone done this before? Is it difficult?

THANKS

i do at home in my book marks... shit.

its on anglefire.com some where... if some one else has it, post it, or amybe search on angel fire... i'll see if i can find it tonight

Yes, the european and japanese ecu's are different from the US ones.

They are the short box versions, and require a bit more work to chip.
