Goal: -30 lbs -2 inches by Mid July, smoke free.

weigh in last night- 245 fully dressed with big shoe/boots on.

want to drop from a 38 to a 36 (36 for me is thin... im wide)

diet for the week:

water/fruit20 <-- love that stuff

breakfast- Sobe no fear/monster energy or some other energy drink with lots of taurine. a granola bar/nutrigrain bar
lunch- salad
dinner. lots of rice, chicken, sushi, and vegis. fuck you atkins. i'm going to eat carbs, and im still going to lose weight. and you know what, i'm going to keep it off too.

I'm already down a belt notch as of a week ago or so...

went to the gym last night for the first time in months... did bi's and tris'
tonight is chest and back and some enduro stuff.

the elevator is out in my building, so i'm on a stair routine. done 20 floors already today :)

what are you talking about? an aerobic workout is the best for you, where you have an elivated heart rate for 20 minutes or more.. good luck on the diet, let us know how it goes!

i'm talking about you don't need to be at the gym for 3 hours everyday...

its better to just go for an hour and stick to it...
doesn't really matter how much you do as long as you stick with your changes over the long run...

and 20 minutes classifies as LONG to you???

cardio is the best thing you can do right now to get you in shape and lose the pounds, do lots of running man :)

:werd:

Stay off the simple sugars and exercise- I dropped an inch in a week.

hey blanco, how about for me?

lol im 6'1'' 150 lbs and i cant seem to gain weight for anything! when i lift, i only get stronger, it doesnt seem like im getting bigger at all. weight wise or size wise. i eat healthy and all the time. i eat more than a... well... i could say horse, but thats lame. you get the point. my body fat percentage (as of the test yesterday at the school gym) is 7.6%

congrats on starting the diet again pissedoff, as long as you get into the routine, you will be fine and show improvement. its starting that is always the killer for exercise plans.

Try to cut out as much sugar and bad carbs as you can

start by looking at the sugar content in your drinks/juices/teas
best thing to drink by far is WATER and TONS of it at least a gallon a day!
Sure you'll pee a lot but ohwell at least you know its also cleaning out your system =)

White flour sucks try to stick with 100% WHOLE WEAT do not buy whole weat bread unless it says 100% whole weat =)~

Drink tons of water
Cut out all or at least most all of your sugars/bad carbs
run run run run run run run

hey pissed

you should take pics of yourself now, front and back
and then keep take pics once a week

it might feel like you're not changing but then you can compare the pics to see that you are and it will give you even more encouragement...

definately cant wait for you to be smoke free. :D

good luck B...but I doubt the smoke free shit will happen.

I bet Marci put him up to this.

B- don't need to drink gallons of water a day. you're supposed to drink half your weight of water (in oz) a day.

so if you're 240, drink 120 oz of water a day. :)

fresh fruits n veggies... no white sugar and white flour... you should lose about 20 pounds in a month.

But the photoshoppers would have a field day if they leaked out. :D

People hate me when I tell them, but as for me, I'm about 6'0", 125lbs, maybe 1% body fat. I can and do eat anything I want, when I want. I'm pretty inactive, too. When I worked at UPS I gained nearly 20lbs of muscle in 3 months, and maintained that 1& body fat. But when I quit I lost it all in the same amount of time. I know it dosen't take much at all for me to gain muscle, but I'm just not motivated enough to keep to a workout schedule. :P

:lmao:

there would be pics of B ALL over the internet.

oh, and just curious, but how did part 1 go? :D
