Power Problem

ok here is what i have. there is a girl i know that just got a 99 civic si b16a2 and she told me that sometimes she will hit the gas and there will be a large lack of power, i told her it was probably her cap button and roter but i need some more input please let me know thanks

she has exhaust and header that is it for engine mods

Clogged injectors, engine has a broken motor mount and when she jumps on it the engine is shifting and crimping the fuel line How frequently does it bog out, and when it does happen what are the exact symptoms?

If the car is losing power when she is reving up than it could be a problem in the tranny. Maybe the clutch is fried and not locking correctly... :unsure:

sounds like misfire probably bad plug wires...

when was the last time the fuel filter was changed? that is one of the symtoms of a clogged filter.
