Ok, I know I need to plastiguage to get an accurate answer. Well, I need something to work off right? So, my question.
The bearings I removed my LS shortblock; 6 were green 4 were pink. So, when I get ready to measure for new bearings, do I plastigauge with the old ones or with the new ones?
Here are some pictures, I made...
Do I re-use the old bearings to measure for hte new bearings or.... do i buy a set of new bearings and plastiguage with new bearings?
Lastly, the rods were stamped 2 on each of them, and the letters on the crank are B A B A, so I would need 2 pink bearings and 2 yellow bearings right?
Also, what do I do about bearings with eagle rods? I read LSVTEC's post about how all eagle rods except for B16 and H22 use #3 bearing, what color is a #3 bearing?
