Which radiator hoses should I use for my LS swap in my 92 Civic. I finally got the radiator just to find out that the stock civic hoses wouldn't work...even if I didn't cut them. I've heard so many different things so I just want your's guy's advice and knowledge.

you gotta use the integra radiator hoses and then use those ladder hose clamps?? the ones that can get smaller becaues the civic radiator is smaller diameter then the hose but if use use integra radiator then just use the stock clamps.

you guys sure on that ... ive always been told to use the Del Sol VTEC hoses

Yup that's what I heard too, but it kinda makes sense the teggy hoses works... same chassis..same size engine bay?different radiator.

thats what all my stuff says but I have wondered if thats just for the stock civic rad?can teg rads use delsolvtec hoses also?

Depends on the radiator, civic rad. use Del Sol vtec, teg radiator use teg. The inlets are in different places.

what about for a b18c in a crx with the crx radiator? one of mine is gonna need to be replaced soon, and i dont know which ones to get.

edit: sorry, its the upper rad hose

92-93 GSR for the upper

someone told me that you can use the hoses from your engine, then cut the old hoses(the ones that fit your radi) and then shove the smaller one into the bigger one and make it a 2 layer hose IE:

( ) <-- big hose
() <-- small hose
(()) <--- goofy 2x hose

and then it would fit over whatever just like it was natural, but i dont know about leaks through this setup or not.

btw those clamps are called aero clamps.

Follow up, took it for a ride with the axle in and new radiator hoses. I'm a jackass but I'll get to that later. So I take it into the mountains just driving around carefully (not above 4000rpm) trying to monitor the temperature guage. All was looking normal so I decided I can "test it out". About 5 minutes later I look down to notice the car overheating, so I decide to go home. I take rt 22 home at about 40 mph, when I get home I realize I forgot to refill the radiator and tighten one of the hoses, after burning myself of course. So I refill it and go to start it up...guess what outta gas, me trying to be a little concerned about overheating didn't even bother too look at the fuel gauge. Now I'm outta gas and dont want to walk in the rain. but I guess shit just happens that way if u do careless shit like me.

LMFAO. so using the teg hoses and the aero clamp worked? it closed the gap enough and stopped leaks? or do you not know because you didnt have any coolant... lol...  :bonk: :bonk:

Nope no leaks, problem fixed, no overheating, got some gas (thanks dad) and I love my car again. Except the fact she burnt me will never leave my mind.
