never mind about the checker harness.

according the the helms manual for my car, for the tdc sensor, i need to "repair open in BLU/YEL and/or BLU/GRN wires".

what does it mean by "repair open in"?

and for the throttle angle sensor i need to
"replace throttle angle sensor
repair open or short in RED/YEL wire between ecu (c7) and throttle angle sensor.
repair short in RED/YEL wire between throttle angle sensor and A/T control unit."

do i have to start hunting for shorts or something?

verify the wiring is good, that the sensor is positioned properly, then if that doesn't work, replace the sensor.

IT still sounds like you have a vacuum leak. that would explain the high idle and tuning down the idle when you have a leak would make it die at low RPM.

so, youre suggesting i start searching for a vacuum leak?
i do that by spraying soap and water on the hoses, right?

no, carb cleaner like i said in your other thread

fucking with the idle screw and the FITV.

thats the third gasket that i was talking about.

ahhh gotcha, i forgot bout that middle gasket. if adjusting that screw isnt working either spray the carb cleaner on the manifold and check for vaccum leaks
