no, the cars equipped with the ZC transmission used equal length axles on both sides of the car along with an intermediate axle shaft that bolts to the back of the engine and extends out from the transmission to the end of the axle - like having a 2 piece axle - the ZC intermediate axle shaft looks like this:excuse my ignorance here, but "intermediate shaft" - is that the shaft coming out of the transmission that connects to the clutch plate?

Doesn't really sound worth it - from what I understand the ZC trans doesn't do that much for me. I just want a good working 5 speed.
