Silicone Couplers WTF $$$$

WHat the hell, when I bought these couplers last year they were like 25 bucks for 10. Now these shits are like $5 each and I need 8.

Anyone know of a cheap place to get them?

Do a search for "intercooler hose silicone tube" on ebay and find the size you need. Then you cut them to the length you need. It basicly the same thing that the big companies get and then cut them and slap on their logo. I got a 4 foot long tube for 38 bucks shipped and cut them to fit and had leftovers.

They do have different lengths too

4 inch per coupler * 8 couplers = 32 inch

32 inches * 1.67 per inch = $53 plus shipping

DAMN

i think couplers are usually 3.5 inches long right?

and thats still over 6 bucks a pop without shipping

i think i blew more pipes than the del sol saw miles.

you get what you pay for. if you skimp and get shit, they will balloon up, and fall off.

I will defenitly upgrade in the future, but right now I don't think I want to spend that much on couplers.

You think they're gonna blow off even at like 10 psi with the 48/42?

I know your right....I'm gonna get aggrivated if they do start to blow.

I think I may go and have some of the pipes welded so I use less couplers, then I'll defenitly look into those.

i was using turbonetics silicone couplers, and at 11 psi, they were ballooning. do it right the first time.

either weld it, or use a real coupler.
