Srs Light

How can i get my srs light turned off? If i unplug it wont it stop my speedometer from working? I know i need an airbag but i want the light off it anoys me. If i bought a aftermarket steering wheel that doesnt have an airbag how would you get the srs light not to come on? I have a 93 honda civic dx. thanks

err--- never mind. you unplugged it for good.

remove the light bulb, or use black tape- thats really your only option
