steering wheel question?

hey i am about to put a new steering wheel on my 93 hatch it is another stock one just like the one on it. My question is when i am changing it out is there any chance that the air bag will deploy?

yes and no. just disconnect the battery and youll be fine. i assume you aint gonna be beating on it either so you should be alright.

yeah make sure you disconnect the battery

the bag is only set to deploy off sensors that are smacked hard enough around the car, well under the hood that i know of. the odds of it jsut deploying are very slight but hey not worth the risk. disconnect the battery ull b fine
