How tight should my timing belt be? i think its loose cuz it moves left and right bout half a inch each way or alittle more. i got a b18c1. also how do i tigtin it? its that 14mm bolt under the mount right?? i tried to tighten it but it wont budge....

you loosen it, then tighten it. it needs to be loosened for the spring to apply the tension, then you tighten it to hold it in place.
 
OK this is what i do, you need to somehow make all the play in the timing belt be on the right side towards the alternator then loosen the the tensioner bolt and the play will magicaly disapear and then tighten the tensioner bolt again.

NOTE: be sure to align all the marking on the cams and the crank pulley CRUCIAL.

you dont' need to worry about timing when tensioning the belt, not like its going to slip off the teeth. but yes, you want your slack on the side that is towards the rear of the car.

yeah i meant be sure they are aligned
 
I believe that if you are able to twist the belt half way then it should be tightened some so that it's a little more tough to twist it half way...if that made any sense?
