throwin code 23

i have a 90 crx si wit a b16 and since ive got it its been throwin code 23 , i replaced the sensor and checked the wirein and its still throwin the code, would the knock sensor cuase the car not to go into high rpm's??

fromwhat i've seen...knock makes you rev up real slow...but you could still get to like 8k

is vtec kicking in, that would make it rev slow since you would be trying to rev high on the the primary cam, if everythings is in fact wired correctly, try swaping the ecu's out and see what happens
