tranny question

Ive got a 95 b18b in my 93 civic hb and the tranny has been grinding occationally for a while now, but there is someone in my area sellin a 99 gsr tranny pretty cheap. I know the gearing is different so will the gsr tranny be better or worse than if i were to find a ls tranny?

accelaration wise = gsr tranny
gas wise = ls

GSR has wayyyy shorter gear ratios and you'll notice a speed boost!

Not always. Longer gears will be better if you have a 600hp Skyline
