Nick Go FAST!!
Here's the update.

I mounted the manifold to the head and went to install the turbo. NO GOOD! The turbo was hitting a mount point for the front motor mount. Since I was making a solid front mount anyway, I cut it away! Everything fits great now and looks like it's meant to be there :)

I plan on having this thing all wrapped up in a week or 2 tops.

I bought a Magnaflow mid muffler and angle cut tip, decided to do a side-exit exhaust. Don't have any real performance reasons, just nice, short and simple.

Here's the part I cut away

Here's the manifold mounted to the motor, I'll get a pic tonight with the turbo and downpipe all bolted up:

I'm so close now!! I got almost all the piping done, and almost all the parts mounted. I think this car should be done on my part by the weekend. Just need a solid mount for the front, exhaust made and THATS IT! :) :) :) :)

no insult intended, but why didnt you rotate the turbine housing down...seems like it woulda given you an easier install.

The Wastegate actuator would've given me more serious issues then. I had to grind away a bunch of the mount for the front motor mount just to get it to fit like that. The piping was pretty easy actually. I just bought another 45 for the air inlet to try and tuck it back toward the tranny a lil more. I'll post pics when I install that and the new aluminum rad.

yeah, now that i see were the actuator is, i kinda understand why you did it.
