turbo question on obd0 b16

aiite, i'm putting a greddy t3 turbo on my 98 civic with an obd0 b16a...

on the turbo kits for the a2's, they have a "missing link" for the map sensor, that goes between the map sensor and the intake manifold/throttle body...

on the obd0 b16a, the map sensor doesn't connect directly to the throttle body.

what do i do? and is there anything else im gonna need? (other than turbo, manifold, downpipe, intercooler, intercooler piping, wastegate, blowoff valve, boost controller)

are you sure? greddy uses mitsu turbos, not garret.

and how the hell do you have an obd0 b16 in your obd2 civic wired up? what ecu? what wiring? does it even run?

What you do depends on where your map sensor is. Are you using an external map sensor now? Get a missing link for the OBD0 cars, then. Duh.

first off, why would you need a check valve with a greddy 16g? kit?
blue box will MORE than satisfy your needs (at stock boost) untill you
decide to turn up the boost a bit.

intercooler is NOT needed @ stock boost. just make sure your cooling system and what not (radiatior etc) is in good working condition.

intercooler DOES help out, but at stock boost on the greddy kits....its not required.

but it would help a tad.

When you eventually do get the urge to "turn up the boost just a TAD" (10psi)

either go hondata...which costs buckoo bucks, or run the (v)afc hack, which is cheaper....but as Brian says...."ITS A HACK"

someone correct me if im wrong....but the A2's are indeed obdII arent they?
so why would greddy supply a check valve like this guy is claiming if their blue box takes care of the map sensor by itself?
