does anybody know how or what i would need to do to make the TYC 1pc headlights for the 2 and 3 door civic's fit on my 4dr civic...????? I really don't want to buy another brand either....

change over to a coupe front-end.

Calesta looked into doing it I think, but it's a lot of work.

The fenders, hood, bumper, and I think even the core support are all different on the 4-door.

Well i am about to get new hood, fenders, and body kit. If those parts have to be changed then all i would be lacking is the core support. Can anyone else confirm this and will i need to fab anything to change the hood, fenders, bumper and core support or are they a direct bolt up...???

It should all be direct fit. The only problem that you might run into is the rear arch of the fender where it meets the door might be off, but if you're getting fiberglass fenders that's fixable.

i think they are...... they are the X-1 fenders from buddy club 2. How about the core support is it a bolt up option or is a weld on. Either way i can do it but just wanted to know ahead of time...?

yeah they are fiberglass so will it just be a shim or something ..?

Core support is a weld-on. and a pita to remove at that.

Why the hell would you go through all that trouble just for a set of headlights?

Get a different brand or something.

because i don't want to spend $50.00 less on a shit can that will leak in a month or two. And as i already stated ..........i am already getting the new body parts anyways.

PM Calesta. If I recall he was looking into doing the front end swap at some point, and would probably be happy to help.

Good luck, i saw 2dr front end on a 4 door locally, and it looked great.
Too bad the rear end sucked :p

TYC is the BEST ev4RRRRR!
Don't get anything else, you will be disappointed. :)

Yup, read my PM back to you. I'm catching up on a week's worth of posts, and I respond to PMs before I read posts... so you have a response already. Post the response back in here so everyone can benefit from reading it too- I didn't save it in my send box.

just if someone wants to know. All you have to do is change the core support and then all the 2 dr stuff will bolt right up and fit perfect. the stock 2dr fenders even bolt right up and the body lines will match exactly.
