Type R

So my friend wants to get a Type R for his car. his car is a 95 Acura Integra, its currently has a B16a ODB1 Swap in it.

He is wondering can he buy a OBD2 Type R engine and use a jumper harness, will he need a ECU jumper and a Distributor jumper or just one or would u suggest doing a OBD1 Type R Swap?
